I mainly set this blog up for fun and because I could.  The website has been online since May 1999.  Mainly as a place to post the pictures of my adventures and as a place to throw my thoughts out to the world.  I guess this blog page is just an extension of that.

  I do enjoy the blogging.  It’s a great place to tell you all my opinions.  I really think you should read and learn from my vast knowledge of world happenings.

  If you don’t agree with my views you’re probably a progressive in which case you should read them over and over again until you see the light.  Or, you could go stand in a train tunnel until you see the light…  No, don’t do that someone would have to clean up the mess.  But on the positive side, that might create a thousand or so government jobs.

  I spent a lot of time traveling the United States and some of the world.  Being in the Navy for twenty years I’ve had the privilage of living in or visiting a lot of great places, (some crappy ones too).  I’ve come to the conclusion that this is the greatest country to live and I love the Pacific Northwest.  I think it would be better if they shipped all the people from Portland and Seattle to California, but you have to have those you can laugh at.  These people are happy to sing the wheels on the bus go round and round, without any concern of what it takes to keep them turning.  And, for that matter, doing their best to hamper the progress of those who do keep them turning.  It’s a perfect example of the few trying to control the many.  I live for the day the many wake up and say; you want to do what?
